Chimes are made in Nepal of an alloy of bronze, iron and zinc.
The sound is penetrating and purposely dissonant unlike the harmonic overtones of the Tibetan singing bowls. When struck together, these premium metal tingshas provide a harmonic high-pitch, lingering sound that rings out with a full and ultra long sustain.
Tingsha chimes may be used:
- To help to center, awaken, or focus attention and awareness
- During a transition routine in the classroom and professional development
- Mark the beginning and/or the end of a mindfulness practice
- To clear space and personal energy

How to use
How to use
The chime may be used during a mindfulness practice for self or others. It is played by gently holding the rope at the top and lightly moving it in a circular or sideways motion. It can also be suspended by the rope and hung near a window or fan to act as a windchime. The Koshi Chime is suggested for indoor use.
