Mindfulness Data

We are currently collecting our own data, aimed to provide evidence-based mindfulness practices to help relieve everyday stressors. Research in mindfulness presents a wide-range of positive outcomes for healthy social-emotional development and an overall sense of well-being. It has shown to be effective to strengthen self-awareness and self-regulation skills to help heal from the inside out; to reduce unhealthy stress and anxiety, foster positive relationships, improve sleep, and much more. With the rise of mental health concerns among youth and adults, there is an increased demand to incorporate wellness practices such as mindfulness exercises into daily routines and to build a mindful capacity to impact others. Through our research, we hope to empower a consistent practice across all generations - so we can cultivate a safe space for emotional stability and resiliency.

Gratitude

We hold gratitude to our partnerships, working with different schools, county offices, organizations, and grant funded programs to make our efforts in outreach and research possible! Also, thank you so much to all the participants who contributed to this research! This generation of new knowledge helps bring awareness to the benefits and/or experiences of using such holistic practices. This information also helps us pave the way to continue advocating the importance of providing such services for wellness, to support emotional regulation and overall well-being. #mentalhealthmatters💚

ADULT COLLECTIVE DATA:

In these small samples, we were able to capture that an average of 88% of the participants experienced unhealthy stress & 87.4% experienced anxiety sometimes (2-4 days) or often (5-7 days) in the past seven days. In addition, an average of 90.3% of adults experienced a positive shift in their wellness after receiving a learning &/or wellness session by us. We also received their feedback on what they enjoyed the most from the session and any information they wanted to provide.

STUDENT COLLECTIVE DATA:

In these small samples, we were able to capture that an average of 74% of the participants experienced unhealthy stress & 69.5% experienced anxiety sometimes (2-4 days) or often (5-7 days) in the past seven days. In addition, an average of 75.2% of youth experienced a positive shift in their wellness after receiving a learning &/or wellness session by us. We also received their feedback on what they enjoyed the most from the session and any information they wanted to provide.

Our research shows that there is a significant number of adults and youth who are regularly experiencing unhealthy stress &/or anxiety. However, participants reported experiencing a positive shift in their wellness after one mindfulness session with us.
